TrustMotion part of NXP is looking for AI Engineer to join our growing team working on next-generation AI solutions for embedded platforms.
The role focuses on development, fine-tuning, optimization, and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs), with a strong emphasis on bringing AI from concept to execution on hardware platforms.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and optimize AI solutions based on LLMs and VLMs
- Fine-tune foundation models for specific use cases and domains
- Develop and maintain AI agents using modern Agentic Frameworks
- Design and develop MCP tools and integrate them into AI agent workflows
- Evaluate model performance, accuracy, latency, and resource utilization
- Deploy and optimize AI models on embedded and edge computing platforms
- Create proof-of-concepts and support product development activities
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and industry trends
What We Are Looking For
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong programming skills
- Good understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, VLMs, or other Generative AI systems
- Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning and evaluation techniques
- Experience using AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or similar
- Understanding of software engineering best practices and version control systems
- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks
- Experience with MCP tools and AI tools integration
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of model optimization and edge AI deployment
- Experience with Linux environments
- Experience working with multimodal AI systems
- Embedded systems experience, particularly in AI model deployment and performance optimization
